About Araldite AY103 HY956

Araldite AY-103/HY-956 is a transparent, almost colourless, low viscosity adhesive which finds many uses in ceramic restoration. It is used by many porcelain restorers to make putties, coloured fills and to cast missing parts.

AY103 is the resin and HY956 is the hardener. Once mixed at a ratio of 100:18 The resin cures in around 24 hours.

Used as an adhesive it gives a very strong bond to all porous and non porous ceramics. Araldite AY103 HY956 is used by many ceramic restorers in place of the thicker twin tube araldite as the lower viscosity of Araldite AY103 HY956 gives a much tighter bond.

Makes an excellent casting resin when filled with porcelain powder. By adding powder pigments Araldite AY103 HY956 can be filled and coloured to match any ceramic body.
