Tints

These are pigments blended into a liquid solvent-borne acrylic binder.

The pigments which these tints are manufactured from are extremely finely ground, much finer than artists oil or powder pigments. They will not clog or cause spitting from even the finest airbrush nozzle.

Unlike artists oils or powder pigments these tints are manufactured for use with restoration type glazes. They mix easily into any of our glazes, do not change tone on drying and unlike some colourants they will not curdle, separate or alter the drying properties of the glaze.

Tints vary in strength from colour to colour but in general they have a much stronger tinting power than any artists oil colours.

They can be added directly to a paint mix or dropped onto a tile and picked up with a mixing brush.
