WB Ceramic GlazeWater based, very low hazard and virtually odorless glaze. Will not crack, craze or yellow in time, stays completely clear.
One-part, no need for hardener, quick drying water-borne, can be applied by brush or air-brush. To airbrush the glaze should be diluted with up 10% tap water
Coating is usually touch dry within 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the ambient temperature. For the best results we suggest working in a warm dry environment. Drying can be speeded up by using a hairdryer, infra red heat lamp or oven.
Coated articles can be handled 2 hours after the final coat but will take 10 days to fully harden if not stoved.
For extra hardness and water resistance the product may be stoved. The coated article should be left to stand for 60 minutes or more to allow the water to evaporate before stoving
Stove for 45 minutes at 100 deg C, allow to cool to ambient temperature before the next coat is applied.
Artists dry powder pigments can be mixed with WB Acrylic. Artists acrylic colours can also be used but it is recommended that a test for compatibility is carried out because of the differences between manufacturers formulations.
WB Acrylic Glaze is compatible for use under or over most cellulose, acrylic, epoxy and oil based paints. Always test for compatibility first.
