Oil Colours

These pure pigments are ground very slowly with extreme care to an extra-fine consistency. They are then combined at maximum concentration with an archival safflower oil to yield the highest possible tinting strength.

Can be used to colour any of our solvent based glazes. The mixing method employed by most restorers is to squeeze out a selection of oil colours onto a white ceramic tile and then using a paint brush pick up small amounts of colour to mix with glaze in either in the airbrush cup or a mixing pot.
